We took a local bus from Mérida, Mexico to Cuzama, Mexico to visit some cenotes! Cenotes are one of, if not THE best thing to experience while you are in Mérida, or anywhere in the Yucatan, here in Mexico! And so OF COURSE, when my friend and fellow Single Mom YouTuber came to visit the region with her daughters, we HAD TO VISIT A CENOTE!
Follow Karen Matamoros (YouTube channel Mom On A Journey), myself, and our children, as we venture into the unknown in search of some cenotes!
You can also see these cenotes through Karen's eyes on HER video: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvEZDS4TdUeXS5irFIb9Bow
Mototaxis, autobuses from Noreste, and horse carts are fun ways to get you there!
The three cenotes we visited in Cuzamá were, in order:
#1 Cenote Chacsinicche
#2 Cenote Bolonchojol
#3 Cenote Chelentun
And we were inspired by the blog written by The Moon On The Other Side!

About us (Ann Holman ):
I have traveled my entire life (first with my Marine Corps family, and then with my Navy career), but in June 2019 (when I retired), we packed up everything we owned in the US (that didn't fit in our Roadtrek 190 Popular van) to travel the world—starting with the US, and now we're doing Airbnb life in Merida, Mexico! Since then, we've been making travel videos about our life and the new experiences we encounter. If you'd like to join our silliness, subscribe to our YouTube channel.
Travel life can be really crazy and difficult at times and we truly appreciate your contributions and support that allow us to build a community of fearless travelers!
Thank you so much!
